its melbourne bound in a few hours.
been sick for the last 2 days.
so imagining everyone eating all the new year goodies
and i can only stare at them.
welll.. ive got my fair share before i got sick.
thats enough really.

home is good.
i always love being at home.
but its goodbye.
amy and kor left yesterday
and this morning is joyce,dajie and my turn.
back to just mummy and daddy..

will be back soon.
probably either june or august.
but ill definetely come back for chinese new year again next year.
so till thens.

the.older cousins have been wanting to spend more time together as a family.
so todayyy.we are going for bowling in the arvo.
more bonding.
i love it.

anyways.mum n dad are becoming more n more hippy.
they are sleeeping later than all of us now.
went to bed at 1am and mum was still playing cards and mahjong with the relatives.
and dad was talking to grandma and uncle.
asked them this morning what time they slept.
they said 2am.
times have changed....

it might only b 5 days but.
its definetely better than nothing

the siblings are coming for the graduation.

was excited about it in the afternoon

when dajie told me about her confirmed flight!!!

but once they started talking about chinese new year.

i really felt my heart sank.

i feel so far away from my family.

its the festivity i always look forward to.

the chinese new year songs which are played in the shopping malls.

and even at my house.

the massive amount of mandarin oranges that would sit in the old house living room.

i sat on the bed last night.

thinking and recalling every single bit of it.

trying to capture moments..

but it all seem too far away.

i feel deprived.really deprived.

the atmosphere of the little town.

i really really miss home.
i miss the festivity.
the fun of the running around the supermarkets to get everything ready.
helping mum with the putting of money into the ang pao's.
the having a lot of bak kwa to eat with coke.
michelle and claudia and all the other little ones to play with.
the decorating of the house in all RED.
and the different plants mum would buy.
nasi lemak on the the eve of chinese new year at grandmum's old place.
the tradition of everyone wearing RED on eve of chinese new year.
ah ma's kinna kueh.
mum's food.
kor's favourite chicken and pig stomach's soup.
i miss home.
i feel like a sulker.
i jus wanna be home

settling down.
at the new place.
im getting used to it.
it kinda feels the same.
might be cause of familarity of how things are placed.

m missing home
missing the chinese new year festivity
its the first time im away from home for chinese new year and christmas.
missing the having to help mum make pineapple tarts
and the familiar smells of the cookies and peanut butter cookies.
i probably would bake some soons when im more settled down.
or nearer to the new year.
its bed time nearly.
interview tomorrow.

shifted offically.
threw away lots and lots of stuff.
its like throwing memories all away.
like pressing ctrl,alt, and delete.

lots of unpackin to be done.
the amount of clothes i have
amazes me.

pack pack, vaccumm pack the winter clothes.
n put it all in the storage downstairs.

heys.
yes.
i know i havent been blogging much.
but for the next couple of weeks.
i think ill be away from the internet for a while.
been busy moving moving.
and no internet at the new place yet.
so well.wldnt be blogging much........

for now, the feelings are.
yes.finally moving out after 3 years.
feels different.
part of me feels excited but part of me feels reallly sad.
i guess looking forward to a brand new home environment with the girls.
and leaving here.
the room looks empty.
it feels different.
when all is over.ill be fine.
time to adapt and time for new season.
no more hi suelee and mike.
no more sue lets go out.
or wanna meet for lunch in the city.
takes a little bit more of a strategic planning now.
but its all good.=)
thats from me for now.

time to move on.
